• Seeking a Locum Electrophysiology Cardiologist for coverage beginning January 2027
• Position includes both clinic & hospital responsibilities
• Coverage needed approximately 2 weeks per month
• Schedule includes 8 hour clinic shifts for 3–4 days followed by weekend EP call 1–2 times per month
• Opportunity for additional EP lab days for the right candidate
• Weekend coverage includes inpatient rounding, pacemaker implantation, and overnight telephone call
• Patient population primarily consists of geriatric patients & adults age 50+
• Approximately 3–4 patients per day
• Hospital capacity is approximately 388 beds

Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate & manage cardiology patients
• Perform inpatient pacemaker implantations
• Perform DCCV cardioversions
• Participate in EP lab procedures as appropriate
• Conduct inpatient rounding & admissions
• Provide weekend EP call coverage
• Provide telephone consultation after 5:00 PM
• Participate in inpatient rounding from 7:00 AM–5:00 PM during weekend call
• Collaborate with General & Interventional Cardiology teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Active clinical cardiology practice experience
• Documentation of at least 100 inpatient cardiology cases within the previous 24 months
• Minimum of 30 relevant EP cases within the previous 24 months
• Ablation experience required if ablation privileges are requested
• BLS & ACLS certification
• EPIC experience
• Willingness to obtain appropriate state licensure
Working Hours
• Approximately 3–4 clinic days per coverage week
• Coverage approximately 2 weeks per month
• Weekend EP call approximately 1–2 times per month
• Weekend inpatient rounding: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Approximately 5 hours of rounding each weekend day
• Telephone EP call: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Additional EP lab days may be available
