Locum Electrophysiologist – Washington – 10-Hour Shifts & Call Coverage - (DM)

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, approximately 1 week per month + Call

We are seeking a Cardiologist with Electrophysiology expertise for a locum tenens opportunity providing cardiac care across hospital and clinic settings.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Electrophysiology services in both hospital and clinic settings.
• Manage adult cardiology patients.
• Perform the full spectrum of EP procedures, from pacemaker implantation through ablations.
• Provide General Cardiology coverage as needed.
• Perform cardioversions.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
• Provide inpatient rounding and cardiac consultations.
• Manage approximately 8–10 patients per day.
• Collaborate with APC support available Monday–Saturday.
• Document patient care using Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required.
• Cardiology/Electrophysiology experience required.
• Active Washington license preferred; IMLC candidates may be considered.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• ARNP certification listed among required credentials.
• Must provide case documentation representative of cardiovascular privileges within the previous 24 months.
• EP candidates must provide documentation of approximately 100 EP cases representative of requested privileges within the previous 24 months.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Working Hours

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts
• 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Approximately 1 week per month

Call:

• Approximately 2 weeknight calls during the coverage week
• Potential 24-hour weekend call as needed
• Call includes 4 hours of gratis
