Locum Electrophysiologist – Pennsylvania – No Call, Weekday Schedule - (DM)

Position: Electrophysiologist

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Call: No Call Required
Coverage: Up to 40 hours/week as needed for coverage

Job Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient Electrophysiology services.
• Evaluate and manage adult EP patients.
• Perform Electrophysiology consultations.
• Manage outpatient EP clinic patients.
• Provide inpatient EP coverage.
• Perform pacemaker implantations.
• Perform traditional and subcutaneous ICD implantations.
• Perform loop recorder implantation and explantation.
• Perform EP ablations, including:
  • AVN
  • SVT
  • Atrial flutter
• Collaborate with an assigned outpatient clinical team and inpatient APP.
• Document patient care using Epic EMR.

Patient Volume

• Approximately 16 outpatient patients/day
• Approximately 10–15 inpatient patients/day
• Patient population: Adults, approximately 18–100 years

Qualifications

• MD/DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required for submission.
• DEA required.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Cardiology/Electrophysiology experience required.
• Must be comfortable providing both inpatient and outpatient EP care.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Working Hours

Monday–Friday:
8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• No call required.
• Ongoing need with specific coverage dates currently including:
  • September 8–11
  • September 17–18
  • September 24–25
  • October 1–2
  • October 19–30
  • December 28–31
• Up to 40 hours per week once per month, with additional coverage as needed.
