Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Electrophysiology Physician for an ongoing locum opportunity in Erie, Pennsylvania. This role provides a combination of hospital, electrophysiology lab, and outpatient clinic responsibilities. The physician will diagnose and treat patients with cardiac rhythm disorders while performing a wide range of advanced electrophysiology procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrophysiologist seeking a predictable one-week-per-month schedule.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform advanced electrophysiology procedures, including atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter ablations.
• Implant and manage pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and biventricular devices.
• Perform supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) ablations and tilt table studies.
• Interpret diagnostic studies and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based cardiovascular care.
Qualifications
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License (or eligibility to practice upon credentialing).
• Experience performing advanced electrophysiology procedures independently.
• Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and procedural skills.
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break.
• One week per month (ongoing coverage).
• Start date: Upon completion of credentialing (approximately 60–90 days).
