Job description
An excellent Locum Cardiac Electrophysiologist (MD/DO) opportunity in Bellingham, Washington. This assignment offers the opportunity to work in both hospital and outpatient clinic settings while collaborating with an experienced cardiovascular team.
Job Responsibilities
Perform the full spectrum of electrophysiology procedures, including pacemaker implantation, device management, electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, and related EP interventions.
Conduct inpatient consultations, admissions, and daily rounding.
Provide outpatient electrophysiology clinic care and follow-up.
Participate in scheduled weekday and weekend call coverage as required.
Collaborate with cardiologists, Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
Active Washington Medical License preferred.
IMLC accepted, and candidates willing to obtain a Washington license will be considered depending on the start date.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
Documentation of recent cardiovascular clinical activity within the past 24 months.
Documentation of 100 electrophysiology cases performed within the previous 24 months.
Minimum of 2 years of Electrophysiology experience preferred.
Working Hours
Start Date: ASAP (Upon Credentialing)
Schedule: 10-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call: Approximately 2 weeknight calls during the coverage week, with potential 24-hour weekend call as needed

Skills
Proficiency with pacemaker implantation, ICDs, cardiac device management, electrophysiology studies, and catheter ablation procedures.
Strong inpatient consultation and rounding experience.
Excellent clinical judgment and procedural skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.
Experience documenting patient care using Epic EMR.
Excellent communication, patient management, and problem-solving skills.
