Job description
We are seeking an Electrophysiologist for a locum tenens position in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. This is an acute care hospital opportunity spanning inpatient, outpatient clinic, and academic settings. Please see below for more information.
- 270-bed facility
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Perform pacemaker implants
• Perform ICD implants, both traditional and subcutaneous
• Perform loop recorder implants and explants
• Perform ablations including AVN, SVT, and atrial flutter
• See approximately 16 outpatients and 10 to 15 inpatients per day
• Treat an adult patient population ages 18 and older
• Collaborate with an assigned outpatient clinical team and an assigned inpatient advanced practice provider
• Participate in academic and training activities
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA
• BLS
• ACLS
Working Hours
Five 8-hour shifts per scheduled block
Up to 40 hours per week, approximately one week per month, plus vacation coverage as needed
No call
