Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiologist for a full-time locum tenens position with Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, Indiana, for approximately 2-3 months. This is a high-volume role with EP call coverage and a full range of procedures. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: acute care hospital; EP call coverage plus clinic and inpatient care
- Volume: approximately 22 patients per day in clinic; 15-20 inpatient (high volume)
- Procedures: permanent pacemaker implants, lead extractions, leadless pacemaker implants, ICD implants; ablations (atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, SVT, VT, cryoablation)
- Support: 2 cardiac hospitalists
- EMR: Epic (willing to train)
- Duration: full-time, approximately 2-3 months
Job Responsibilities
Perform procedures: permanent, leadless, and ICD implants; pacemaker lead extractions; and ablations (AF, atrial flutter, SVT, VT, cryoablation).
Manage high clinic (approximately 22/day) and inpatient (15-20) volumes.
Document care in Epic EMR.
Qualifications
Active Indiana license required.
DEA (or easily transferable) and CSR required.
Experience with EP procedures; Epic experience preferred (willing to train).
