Job description
We are seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist for a locum tenens position at Flagstaff Medical Center (Northern Arizona Healthcare) in Flagstaff, Arizona. This role focuses on heart rhythm disturbances, including ablations, across hospital and in-office clinic settings. Please see below for more information.
- 268-bed acute care hospital, Level I-IV trauma center
- Cerner EMR
- Cath Lab hospital consults (3-4 per day) plus EP cases (4-6 per day)
- Clinic volume of 20-22 patients
- Special procedures: left-sided ablations; TEEs and moderate sedation
- Abbott Ensite-X mapping system
Job Responsibilities
• Provide hospital consults via the Cath Lab (3-4 per day)
• See clinic patients (20-22 per day)
• Perform left-sided ablations, TEEs, and moderate sedation independently
• Use the Abbott Ensite-X mapping system
• Care for adult patients
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Case logs required (100 EP cases in the last 2 years with emphasis on ablations)
• Comfortable performing moderate sedation independently
• Arizona license required (IMLC accepted); willing to license
• AZ-registered DEA required
• ACLS required
