Job description
A leading healthcare system is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Electrophysiology (EP) Physician to join its growing cardiovascular team in Bloomington, IL. Job Responsibilities
Perform advanced EP procedures (e.g., ablations, device implants, mapping)
Manage both inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology cases
Interpret diagnostic studies including ECGs, Holter monitors, and EP studies
Collaborate with cardiologists, APPs, and multidisciplinary care teams
Develop individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
Participate in program development and growth initiatives
Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and clinical excellence
Qualifications
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology with Electrophysiology specialization
Active Illinois license (or ability to obtain)
Strong clinical and procedural experience in EP
Working Hours
Rotating call schedule
Call shifts: 24-hour coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Skills
EP Call Compensation: $4,400 per 24-hour shift (7A–7A)
$400/hour for in-hospital call-back
