A high-performing hospital-employed cardiovascular group in the Southeast is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Electrophysiologist (EP Cardiologist) to join their expanding cardiology team. You’ll be part of a nationally recognized cardiovascular program with access to advanced technology and a full range of heart services. The focus is on EP-only procedures within a collaborative team of general, interventional, and surgical heart specialists.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with Interventional, CT, and Vascular teams to provide comprehensive cardiac care
Participate in inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations
Engage in teaching opportunities with Internal Medicine and Transitional Year residents
Contribute to the growth of a dedicated EP program within a well-established cardiovascular institute
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
Eligible for or holding an active medical license in the state of Alabama
Fellowship training in Electrophysiology
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Hours
Flexible schedule with protected EP procedure time
Shared call within the cardiovascular group
Skills
Skilled in managing complex arrhythmias and device therapy
Collaborative approach to patient care
Interest in teaching and mentoring residents and medical students
Commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care
