Wisconsin Obesity Medicine Physician Opportunity (FM or IM)

  • A well-established Bariatric Surgery and Obesity Medicine Clinic is seeking a BC/BE Obesity Medicine Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join a comprehensive, multidisciplinary weight management program. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a high-quality, accredited bariatric and obesity medicine environment focused on long-term patient success.

  • MBSAQIP-accredited bariatric surgery and weight management program
  • Comprehensive management of obesity, including complex medical and psychosocial conditions
  • Active role in the care of patients before and after bariatric surgery

Multidisciplinary Team Includes:

  • Bariatric surgeons
  • Obesity Medicine Medical Director
  • Advanced Practice Clinicians
  • Registered Dietitians, Registered Nurses, and PhD-level providers
  • Active participation in bariatric and multidisciplinary care committee meetings

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency
  • Board certification in respective primary specialty
  • Board Certification in Obesity Medicine (ABOM)
  • If not currently certified, must be actively pursuing certification and complete within 6 months of start date
