Location: Poughkeepsie
Specialty Needed: Anesthesiologist
BC/BE Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible required
Length Of Assignment: Permanent need
Facility Type: Hospital and ASC
Call Requirements: No weekday call. 9 weekends/year
Are you looking for an opportunity to have a work-life balance? I'm working with a client in New York who is interested in hiring someone on a permanent basis. Schedule would be flexible, but ideally working four 10's with Monday's off. No weekday call - and 9 weekends/year.
This undeserved area and would accept J1 or H1 Visa candidates.
Position comes with benefits, pension, 5 weeks or vacation 1st year and 6 weeks after that.
Physician will mostly be doing their own cases. Ratio is 1:4 if they are supervising, but 99% of the time provider will be doing their own cases.
Operating room cases are all bread and butter. No hearts. Basic neuro, basic thoracic, basic pedes. OB service provided that is low risk. Bare minimum regional blocks, but not mandatory if not trained in them.
