Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts) | Onsite | Expected 2–3 weeks of coverage per month
Key Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia services for outpatient cases across all specialties, excluding cardiac and OB
Serve in a mixed role of medical directing and performing independent cases
Collaborate with and oversee supporting CRNA staff
Manage patient populations of all ages, including occasional pediatric patients under 1 year for ENT procedures
Perform orthopedic cases with regional nerve blocks — high volume expected
Document clinical care using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
Board Certified in Anesthesiology (Board Eligible not accepted)
Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand
Active DEA registration required
Current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
Proficiency in orthopedic regional nerve blocks required
Preferred Experience / Skills
2 or more years of clinical experience in anesthesiology preferred
Prior experience in an ambulatory surgery center environment
Comfort managing a broad outpatient case mix across multiple surgical specialties
