Position Highlights:
Full-time Cardiac Anesthesiology opportunity
Practice at a 324-bed medical center
Level II Trauma Center with 24-hour emergency services
Provide full-scope cardiac anesthesia care
Care for patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
Perform perioperative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans
Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
Provide postoperative anesthesia care
Flexible full-time scheduling
Call rotation of approximately 1:4
Growing community need for Cardiac Anesthesiology services
Qualifications:
MD or DO or foreign equivalent
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency
Completion of an Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology fellowship
TEE certification
ACLS and PALS certification through the American Heart Association
Active or eligible unrestricted Michigan medical license
Active or eligible Michigan Controlled Substance License
