Locums | General Anesthesiology | Hot Springs, AR (Active AR License Required) Why This Role

  • Full-time weekday schedule
  • Six- to nine-month assignment
  • Expedited credentialing in approximately 2‚Äì3 weeks
  • Supervision-focused practice with rare solo-room coverage
  • Epic EMR
Assignment Details Start: November 2, 2026 Duration: Six to nine months Setting: Level II trauma center Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Full-time coverage needed every week Potential weekday night call Thirteen anesthesia service locations Busy general and obstetric anesthesia practice No cardiovascular cases Clinical Scope General anesthesia Obstetric anesthesia Epidural placement Pediatric cases Oversight of general and OB cases Rare independent-room coverage Practice Model 100% medical-direction/supervision model Typical anesthesiologist-to-CRNA ratio: Approximately 1:4–5 CRNA and physician anesthesia teams onsite Requirements Board certified preferred; board eligible accepted Active Arkansas medical license Active DEA Comfortable supervising CRNAs Current general and obstetric anesthesia experience Must be proficient with epidural placement Clean malpractice history strongly preferred Credentialing Approximately 2–3 weeks after receipt of a completed application Local or drive-in physicians preferred but not required
