Physician - Anesthesiology

Job Details:

• Provide general anesthesiology locum support at a Level II Trauma Center with a heavy OB focus
  
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with potential for some weekday call
  
• Full-time coverage required every week for a duration of 6 to 9 months
  
• Perform anesthesia in general and OB cases, including placing epidurals
  
• Supervise CRNA team within a 1:4-5 supervision model
  
• Position is 100% supervisory with rare instances of running an independent room
  
• OB and pediatric case experience required; experience with OB cases is a strong plus
  
• No cardiac, vascular, or thoracic cases involved; focus is on general and OB cases only
  
• EMR system used is EPIC
  
• Board Certification highly preferred; Board Eligibility required
  
• Active Arkansas state license and DEA certification required
  
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center offering a wide range of surgical and anesthesiology services with a particular emphasis on obstetric cases. The facility operates across 13 sites of service and supports a busy anesthesiology practice with a collaborative team of CRNAs and MDs.
