Locums – Hot Springs, Arkansas, Anesthesiology Job

Start Date: 11/02/2026

Contract Length: 6–9 months

Reason for Coverage: Provider shortage

Schedule & Coverage:

• Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

• Full-time coverage required every week

• 1.0 FTE

• Potential for weekday call coverage

• Coverage across 3 sites of service

Practice Details:

• Level II Trauma Center

• OB-heavy facility

• EMR: Epic

• Support from CRNA and physician teams

• Daily physician-to-CRNA ratio: approximately 3–4 physicians to 1 CRNA

• 100% supervision model

• No cardiovascular (CV) cases; OB cases are included

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia for general surgery and obstetric cases

• Supervise CRNAs managing general and OB cases

• Perform epidural placement

• Oversee anesthesia care across assigned sites

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology

• Active Arkansas medical license

• Active DEA

• Comfortable supervising obstetric and general anesthesia cases

• Proficiency in epidural placement required
