Job description
We are seeking a locum tenens anesthesiologist for a busy, OB-heavy Level II Trauma Center in Arkansas. This full-time assignment starts November 2 and runs 6 to 9 months, with a weekday daytime schedule. The role covers general and obstetric anesthesia while supervising a CRNA team. OB experience is a strong plus.
Job Responsibilities
Place labor epidurals and manage OB anesthesia needs
Supervise CRNAs in a medically directed care model
Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop anesthesia plans
Document care accurately in the Epic EMR
Qualifications
Active Arkansas medical license (required)
Board certified in anesthesiology (highly preferred) or board eligible (required)
Current DEA registration
Clean malpractice history (highly preferred)
Working Hours
Potential for some weekday call
Start date: November 2
Assignment length: 6-9 months
