An acute care hospital in Western Massachusetts is looking for a locum tenens anesthesiologist for a full-time, Monday through Friday day schedule with no call. You will practice independently, assigned to the OR or endoscopy, in a steady daytime environment on Epic. Start is targeted for early 2027, and travel and expenses are covered. Pay: $380/hr.
Job Responsibilities
- Case mix includes general, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, and healthy pediatric cases
- Perform regional anesthesia and nerve blocks, including pediatric blocks
- Endoscopy assignments run roughly 16 to 20 cases per day
- Chart in Epic
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts license or eligibility through the IMLC with Massachusetts
- Active DEA registration with Massachusetts
- Current BLS and ACLS
- 1+ years of experience
- Strong regional anesthesia skills
