Opportunity Overview
- Anesthesiology coverage needed in a rural critical access setting
- Primary need is overnight coverage
- Approximately 10-15 patients
- Inpatient setting
- 6 overnight call shifts within a 2-week period
Schedule & Coverage
Option 1: Overnight Shifts
- Three consecutive 12-hour overnight shifts
- 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- No daytime coverage
- Provider may select 3 nights between Monday-Thursday
Option 2: Day Shift + Overnight Call
- 7:00 AM-3:00 PM day shift
- 3:00 PM-7:00 AM home call
- Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday schedule
- Post-call days off Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Clinical Details
- Inpatient anesthesia
- OB anesthesia
- Epidurals
- General anesthesia
- Surgical anesthesia coverage
- May include CRNA supervision
- Must be comfortable working in a rural, critical access setting
Requirements
- Board Certified preferred; Board Eligible considered
- Active New York license in hand
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- AHA or RQI certifications
- EPIC experience required
- Current and complete work history
- No unexplained gaps of 30+ days
- Residents and fellows not accepted
