Schedule
Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM (8-Hour Shifts)
Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM (10-Hour Shifts)
Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM-7:00 AM
Weekend Call: 24-Hour Coverage, 7:00 AM-7:00 AM
Approximately 20 Shifts Per Month
Offsite Call With 30-Minute Emergency Response Requirement
Provider Must Remain Within Approximately 20 Minutes of the Facility While On Call
Patient Population / Volume
Adult Patients: Approximately 50%
Pediatric Patients: Approximately 50%
No Pediatric OR Cases Under Age 13
Predominantly Inpatient Cases (Approximately 85%)
No Open Heart, Cardiac, or Neurosurgical Cases
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide General Anesthesia Coverage
Manage Anesthesia Care From Preoperative Evaluation Through Case Completion
Perform Independent Anesthesia Cases Approximately 50% of the Time
Supervise CRNAs Approximately 50% of the Time
Provide Weeknight and Weekend Call Coverage
Provide Obstetric Anesthesia Coverage
Manage Routine Surgical Anesthesia Cases
