Schedule
Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM (8-Hour Shifts)
Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM (10-Hour Shifts)
Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM-7:00 AM
Weekend Call: 24-Hour Coverage, 7:00 AM-7:00 AM
Approximately 60 Shifts Per Month Across Coverage Needs
Offsite Call With 30-Minute Emergency Response Requirement
Provider Must Remain Within Approximately 20 Minutes of the Facility While On Call
Patient Population / Volume
Adult Patients: Approximately 85%
Pediatric Patients: Approximately 15%
No Pediatric OR Cases Under Age 13
Predominantly Inpatient Cases
No Open Heart or Neurosurgical Cases
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide General Anesthesia Coverage
Manage Anesthesia Care From Preoperative Evaluation Through Case Completion
Perform Independent Anesthesia Cases Approximately 50% of the Time
Supervise CRNAs Approximately 50% of the Time
Provide Weeknight and Weekend Call Coverage
Provide Obstetric Anesthesia Coverage
Manage Routine Surgical Anesthesia Cases
