Coverage Type: Locum Tenens | Start Date: November 2026
WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking an Anesthesiologist for an outpatient surgery center in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a predictable weekday schedule in an independent ASC setting.
Assignment Highlights
- Start Date: November 2026
- Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Patient Volume: Approximately 6–8 patients per day
- Patient Population: Adults only
- Case Mix: Orthopedic and bread-and-butter cases
- Ultrasound-guided blocks: Preferred, but not required
- Coverage: Truly independent; no supervision required
- Charting: Paper charting
- Travel & Lodging: Covered
Requirements
- BC/BE Anesthesiologist
- Active Indiana license preferred; candidates needing an Indiana license may be considered
- Ability to provide independent anesthesia coverage
- Comfortable with general orthopedic and bread-and-butter cases
- Experience with ultrasound-guided regional blocks preferred but not required
