Locum Anesthesiologist Opportunity | Northern California

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Northern California. This inpatient role supports a busy 7-OR facility and Level III Trauma Center, with a diverse surgical case mix and an established anesthesia team.

Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: January 2027

• Assignment: Ongoing, long-term coverage

• Setting: Inpatient | Level III Trauma Center

• Schedule: 8–12 hour weekday shifts

• Call: Weeknight beeper call + 24-hour weekend beeper call

• Guarantee: 8 hours per day

• Facility: 7 operating rooms

• No resident supervision required

• CRNA supervision experience required

Case Mix

Provide anesthesia coverage for a variety of cases, including:

• Adult & pediatric

• Obstetrics

• Trauma

• Orthopedic

• Thoracic

• Regional anesthesia

• General surgery

Clinical Skills

Experience with the following is preferred:

• General, spinal, epidural & regional anesthesia

• Pain management

• Post-operative epidural and extremity block management

• Arterial and central line placement

• Ventilation management

• Acute volume and blood pressure management

• CRNA supervision

The facility does not perform cardiac, complex vascular, head/spine, or neurosurgical cases.

Support

You’ll work alongside an established anesthesia team with support from RNs, MAs, PA/NPs, and office staff.
