Job description Full-time anesthesiology locum coverage in Auburn, NY. ASAP start; temporary privileges may be available. $375/hour plus travel and lodging reimbursement—up to $2,000 per week for eligible expenses with receipts. 40 hours guaranteed per week.

Job Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for general and OB cases. Perform regional anesthesia and blocks independently. Supervise up to 4:1. Participate in weekday night and 24-hour weekend call coverage.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology, with at least 2 years of experience. Active New York license and AHA or RQI certification required. OB experience and proficiency in regional anesthesia, including independently performing blocks, required. Residents and fellows are not accepted.

Working Hours

Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; 5x8s, with 40 hours guaranteed. Night call is 5:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; weekend call is 24 hours, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m. Must cover at least 2 calls per week and be able to arrive within 30 minutes when called.
