Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Opportunity
Canton-Potsdam Hospital | St. Lawrence Region, New York
Delphi Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at Canton-Potsdam Hospital in northern New York. This position offers a mix of inpatient anesthesia, OB anesthesia, epidurals, and general anesthesia in a rural hospital setting with call responsibilities.
Assignment Details
- Location: St. Lawrence Region, New York
- Facility: Canton-Potsdam Hospital
- Start Date: As Soon As Credentialed
- Assignment Length: 6 months, ongoing as needed
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Weekday Call: 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Weekend Call: Friday 7:00 AM - Monday 7:00 AM
Coverage Dates Needed
- October 19 - October 23, 2026
- Day shifts only
- No weekday call
- November 5 - November 13, 2026
- Weekend Call: November 6 - November 8
- Weekday Call: November 10 and November 12
- December 21 - December 30, 2026
- Holiday Call: December 24 - December 27
- Urgent Need: No full-time provider available to cover call
Clinical Responsibilities
- Inpatient anesthesia services
- OB anesthesia and epidurals
- General anesthesia cases
- Scheduling surgical procedures
- Potential CRNA supervision
- Additional duties as assigned
- Comfortable practicing in a rural hospital environment
Patient Volume
- Approximately 10-15 patients per day
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active New York medical license required at submission
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience required
- AHA or RQI certifications accepted
Compensation
- Regular Rate: $360.00/hour
- Overtime Rate: $465/hour
- Holiday Rate: $465/hour
- Night Call: $900/shift
- Weekend Call: $2,320
- Call Back: $445.00/hour
