Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician - Anesthesiology for Permanent coverage at a inpatient/outpatient facility located in Colorado Springs, CO
This assignment includes inpatient and outpatient anesthesia, onsite hospital coverage, high-acuity and diverse surgical cases, and shared weekend call rotation.

Permanent Physician - Anesthesiology

Shift: Varied; full-time clinical schedule with flexible FTE options

Position Details:
Join a collaborative team of 50+ employed anesthesiologists practicing across Level I and Level III Trauma Centers and an Outpatient Surgical Center. Flexible FTE options and a diverse, high-acuity case mix are available.
Patient Population: Adult and surgical patients requiring anesthesia services across multiple specialties
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient settings, including trauma centers and outpatient surgery center
Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care; collaborate with surgeons, APPs, nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams; maintain and expand procedural skills; participate in mentorship; optionally participate in leadership and teaching opportunities.
Required Procedures: Anesthesia for high-acuity trauma, obstetrics, major spine procedures, general surgery, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, urology and gastrointestinal procedures
EMR System:
Support Staff: Surgeons, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, multidisciplinary teams and experienced anesthesiologists
Days Per Month: Full-time; flexible FTE options
On-Call/Weekends: Shared, manageable and equitable call rotation; weekend call included

Requirements

• TRULY Board Eligible within 5 years or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Colorado Medical License or willingness to obtain
• DEA or willingness to obtain; must be obtained prior to start
• ACLS and BLS
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days — required
