St. Pete is currently looking for 1 Full-time MD to staff both St. Pete and Pasadena Hospitals starting in September. Both facilities are small community hospitals offering outpatient surgeries, endoscopy, and the ability for short overnight stays depending on patient conditions.
St. Pete does OB-spinals/epidurals, Orthopedics - upper and lower extremity regional block, General surgery, TAP blocks, bread and butter cases
Board Status: BC
5-10 years of experience preferred, must have at least 1-2 years experience
St. Pete support staff has 1 Anesthesia Tech plus CRNAs
Shift times: 7a-5p M-F, Beeper call shifts M-F 5p-7a weekday, Weekends 7a-7a
DPV: 5-20 cases daily
MD cases: mixture - may work own cases or supervise
MD to CRNA ratio: 1-3 or 1-4; Pasadena 1-5
Pasadena does 1 OR on Friday's staffed only with an MD

Shift times: 7a-5p M-F, no call at Pasadena, but call required for St Pete - M-F 5p-7a, weekends 7a-7a

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
All candidates MUST be willing to cover at both Pasadena AND St Pete at all times, as well as be flexible with shift times. Needs are based on the number of sites of service which are confirmed the day prior by surgical and anesthesia staff.
