Position Information:
New Providers and REMATCHES
CURRENT NEED: 2-3 FT MDs to start ASAP
PI APPROVAL EFF. 10/1/26 - 13 WEEKS
Anesthesia Practice Overview:
ANES Staffing Model: 4 # of Physicians 10 # of Adv Practice Providers (CRNA/AA)
Number / types of ORs staffed daily: 10
Are there any NORA site: ASC’s, Cath labs, Endo suite, EPS? Cath lab, Endo, IR
Types of cases include: (e.g. Bread and Butter, Ortho, Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, GYN, GI, Endo, ENT, Bariatric, Urology, Plastics): Bariatric, Ortho/Spine, Vascula, Neuro, GYN, GI, Endo, ENT, Urology
Any cases the Site does NOT do: (e.g., No trauma, No OB, No peds): No trauma, ped, OB
OB- Number of monthly/annual deliveries: N/A
Cardiac Cases/ Annual volume: N/A
o Cardiac Fellowship required?
o Is TEE proficiency or certification required?
Charting System/EMR: Medaxion
Average Cases per day: 25
Regularly scheduled ORs on the weekend (Y/N): No
Daily start times: 7:00AM
Percent supervision or medical direction vs. doing own cases: 100% supervision
Average number of hours worked on a weekly basis: 40
Call expectation (in-house or beeper): Beeper
Call frequency/rotation (days/weekends): 1:4
Any Additional call (second, 3rd, back-up) or separate sub-specialty call (e.g. Cardiac call, Trauma Call, OB Call) No
Typical non-call day schedule: (e.g. 7a-5p): 7AM – 5PM Monday-Friday
Typical “on call” day schedule (e.g. 3p-7a): 7AM-7PM; call 7PM-7AM Monday-Friday
