Clinical Magnet, a division of ICON Medical Network, is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a supportive inpatient rehabilitation team. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate physical therapy treatment in accordance with professional standards, regulations, and established care plans.
- Perform delegated physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients in progressing toward individualized rehabilitation goals and maximizing functional independence.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient care is delivered safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with hospital departments to support patient needs and overall outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in physical therapy treatment.
- CPR certification preferred, based on facility requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team.
- Passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
