WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital needs a full-time anesthesiologist starting 11/16/2026, ongoing. $400/hour. Schedule rotates weekly between 5x8-hour shifts or 2x8s plus one 24-hour shift, always totaling 40 hours, expect to do both patterns across the month.

Job Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia coverage for a 76-bed hospital with 4 ORs, L&D, and a Cath Lab. About 10 patients per day, adults only, no pediatrics. Proficiency with regional blocks for orthopedic cases required. Work alongside CRNAs and anesthesia techs. Chart in Epic.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology. Active PA license required, cannot wait on licensure. DEA and ACLS required. 1 year minimum experience. Credentialing runs approximately 90 days, temps available with a clean file.

Working Hours

Full-time, 40 hours/week. Weekly schedule alternates between 5x8-hour day shifts and 2x8s plus one 24-hour call shift.

Regional anesthesia and nerve blocks for orthopedic cases, general OR anesthesia, L&D coverage, rotating call.
