Facility: 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
On-Call: Weekday evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays
• Provide anesthesia coverage for ECT, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, GI, and radiology procedures.
• Support SICU, short-stay, acute/chronic pain management, TEE, and emergency airway services.
• Perform patient consultations and provide appropriate pre- and post-procedure care.
• Provide discharge education, follow-up instructions, and coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in scheduled on-call/standby coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Current, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Minimum 2 years of anesthesiology experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Position Overview
Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiology Physician to provide comprehensive anesthesia and perioperative care in a hospital setting. The physician will provide direct patient care, surgical anesthesia, pain management, consultations, and emergency airway management.Job duties:
• Provide anesthesia services for cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, ENT, urologic, ophthalmologic, and other surgical procedures.• Provide anesthesia coverage for ECT, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, GI, and radiology procedures.
• Support SICU, short-stay, acute/chronic pain management, TEE, and emergency airway services.
• Perform patient consultations and provide appropriate pre- and post-procedure care.
• Provide discharge education, follow-up instructions, and coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Qualifications:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).• Current, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
