Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to join an outpatient endoscopy practice serving patients in Middletown and New Windsor. This is a low-acuity, outpatient-only position focused on routine endoscopic procedures, offering a predictable schedule and excellent work-life balance.
Job Responsibilities
Routine colonoscopies and upper endoscopies
MAC/sedation anesthesia
Single-site assignment per day
No driving between Middletown and New Windsor during the workday
No inpatient responsibilities
No overnight call
Predictable outpatient schedule
No complex or high-acuity cases
Responsibilities --
Provide MAC/sedation anesthesia for routine outpatient endoscopy procedures.
Perform pre-procedure anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia plans.
Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery.
Manage patients through discharge.
Collaborate with gastroenterologists, nursing staff, and endoscopy teams.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications
Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
Active, unrestricted medical license.
Current DEA registration.
BLS and ACLS certification.
Endoscopy/MAC sedation experience preferred.
Working Hours
Up to $15,000 relocation assistance with receipts
