Locums Anesthesiology Physician in Richmond, Indiana - Eight Hour Shifts, Broad Case Mix
Work defined daytime coverage blocks with a varied anesthesia scope, manageable daily volume, and additional coverage anticipated into 2027.
Highlights
- Eight hour daytime shifts
- Additional coverage anticipated into 2027
- Approximately 9 to 10 adult patients per day
- Limited healthy pediatric volume
Practice & Cases
- Inpatient anesthesiology with one assistant
- General anesthesia, OB, vascular surgery, and cath lab cases
- Healthy pediatrics and occasional non-operating room anesthesia
- Basic nerve blocks
Schedule
- Daytime eight hour shifts
- Multiple multi-day coverage blocks
- Weekend call included during one assigned block
- Full commitment to the requested blocks preferred
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Anesthesiology
- Active Indiana license or active IMLC LOQ required
- BLS required, with ACLS required for conscious sedation privileges
