An established anesthesia team is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a permanent position offering an unusually attractive schedule, 17 weeks off annually, no call, and exposure to more than 500 cardiac cases per year.
This opportunity is ideal for a cardiac anesthesiologist who wants to maintain a strong, high-acuity cardiac and thoracic skill set while enjoying significant time away from work.
The position is approximately 90% supervision, including CRNA supervision and resident teaching/supervision, with occasional personally performed cases.

Job Responsibilities
The anesthesiologist will work with a broad and clinically challenging case mix, including:
500+ cardiac cases annually
Open-heart anesthesia
Structural heart procedures
Thoracic surgery, including robotic-assisted cases
Complex vascular cases
Complex orthopedic procedures
Spine
Regional anesthesia
General anesthesia
Adult and pediatric anesthesia
Watchman procedures
PFO closures
MitraClip procedures
Valve surgery
LVAD and transplant coverage are not required
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology fellowship OR recent extensive cardiac surgical anesthesia experience
Must be capable of covering the cardiac case mix independently, excluding LVAD and transplant
Strong perioperative echocardiography skills
Perioperative echo certification preferred/required based on credentialing
Ability to use echocardiography to assist surgical decision-making during valve procedures
Comfortable with complex thoracic cases, including robotic-assisted surgery
Experience with structural heart procedures strongly desired
Comfortable supervising CRNAs
Comfortable with resident teaching and/or supervision
Working Hours
No call
17 weeks off per year
3 FTE staffing model
2 weeks on / 1 week off rotation
Outpatient and hospital-based case mix
Internal moonlighting opportunities available for physicians interested in increasing annual earnings
