Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, Board-Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a full-time locum tenens assignment in Fontana, CA. This position covers permanent vacancies and offers comprehensive full-scope practice of pediatric anesthesia within an independent working environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Case Types: Full scope of pediatric anesthesia.
• Exclusions: No Cardiac or Neurology cases.
Qualifications
• Board Certification: Active Board Certification is strictly required.
• Education: Fellowship Training in Pediatric Anesthesia is required.
• Technology/EMR: Proficiency with Health Connect (Kaiser Permanente's version of EPIC). Previous EPIC experience is highly preferred; a strong, proven skillset in EMR and healthcare technology is required.
Working Hours
• Position Type: 1.0 FTE (Full-time candidates only)
• Duration: 3 Months / 13 Weeks (With an option to extend)
• Credentialing Timeline: 90 days
• Weekly Schedule: 3 to 5 shifts during the week (10-hour days, Monday through Friday)
• Call Requirements:
o Night call on 2 of the worked weekday shifts.
o 1 weekend call per month (Friday–Sunday, 24-hour shifts).
o Note: Call back volume is historically extremely low.
