A hospital is seeking Cardiac Anesthesiologists for full-time locum tenens coverage. This opportunity combines onsite anesthesia coverage with call responsibilities in a CRNA care team model and offers a diverse surgical case mix. (Job ID: 51685)
Details
- Setting: Hospital
- Full-time coverage
- Mix of onsite coverage and restricted/unrestricted call
- Weekend and holiday call coverage required
- Supervise approximately 1–3 ORs within a care team model
- Work collaboratively with CRNAs
- Case mix includes cardiac, trauma, GI, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, general surgery, and bariatrics
- Experience preferred; new graduates considered
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Cardiac fellowship required
- TEE certification required
- Comfortable supervising CRNAs in a care team model
- Candidates must reside outside the facility's 50-mile radius
