Exclusive full-time Anesthesiologist opportunity in New Windsor, New York! Join a streamlined outpatient endoscopy practice offering a rare combination of low-acuity cases, predictable daytime hours, physician autonomy, and exceptional work-life balance. This is an exclusively outpatient role with no complex cases, no inpatient coverage, and no overnight call.
Provide MAC/sedation anesthesia for routine colonoscopies and upper endoscopies while caring for a low-risk ASA I–II patient population. Physicians are assigned to one location per shift, eliminating travel between sites during the workday. Job Responsibilities
• Perform pre-procedure anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans for ASA I–II patients.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and manage recovery through discharge.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, nursing staff, and endoscopy teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications
• Completed Anesthesiology residency.
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
• Active, unrestricted medical license.
• Current DEA registration.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Endoscopy, ambulatory anesthesia, or MAC/sedation experience preferred.
Working Hours
• Predictable daytime schedule
• Single-site assignment per shift
• No driving between Middletown and New Windsor during the workday
• No inpatient coverage
• No overnight call
