Job description • We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia care in a low-acuity outpatient endoscopy setting.
• The position focuses exclusively on routine, low-risk endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
• Providers are assigned to one location per shift, either Middletown or New Windsor, with no travel between locations during the workday.
• No inpatient responsibilities, overnight call, or complex/high-acuity cases.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide MAC/sedation anesthesia for routine outpatient endoscopic procedures.
• Perform pre-procedure anesthesia assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans.
• Provide anesthesia care for primarily ASA I–II patients.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and manage recovery through discharge.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, nurses, and endoscopy staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support patient safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completed residency in Anesthesiology.
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
• Active and unrestricted New York medical license.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience with MAC/sedation anesthesia preferred.
• Endoscopy or ambulatory surgery experience preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-Time position.
• Standard outpatient hours.
• Predictable daytime schedule.
• Single-site assignment per shift.
• No travel between Middletown and New Windsor during the workday.
• No overnight call requirements.
• 6 weeks of vacation.
• 6 paid federal holidays.
• 7 additional PTO days.
