What You’ll Do
- Conduct general genetics evaluations for pediatric and occasional adult patients
- Manage biochemical and metabolic disorders with diagnostics and treatment plans
- Provide inpatient consults in PICU, NICU, and pediatric wards
- Collaborate closely with genetic counselors and clinical staff
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
- Support hospital initiatives with inpatient and outpatient care
- Maintain strong diagnostic skills and uphold safety standards in a busy hospital setting
What You Need
Required:- Board Certification in Genetics (MD or DO)
- Valid Missouri and Illinois medical licenses (or eligible)
- 2-5 years of experience in clinical genetics and metabolic disorders
- BLS, DEA, BNDD certifications
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred:
- Experience with metabolic condition management
- Strong diagnostic and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to hospital workflows
