Looking for a rewarding locum opportunity with advance schedule visibility and a supportive clinical team? A respected hospital in Northern New York is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist for ongoing coverage.
This assignment offers a predictable schedule, diverse case mix, CRNA support, and the opportunity to enjoy the quality of life that comes with practicing in one of New York's most scenic regions.
Position Highlights

- Daytime schedule, typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

- Community hospital setting with collegial staff
Job Responsibilities
Support for obstetric services
Perioperative patient management
Care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
Weekday and weekend beeper call as scheduled
Collaboration with surgeons, nursing staff, and CRNAs
• Document care within EPIC EMR
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Active New York medical license required at submission
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Obstetric anesthesia experience required
Comfortable treating patients across all age groups
Experience with regional anesthesia and central line placement preferred
• Comfortable treating patients across all age groups
• Experience with routine regional techniques and central line placement preferred
Working Hours
• Generally 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Multiple coverage blocks available
• Weekday and weekend beeper coverage required
• Approximately 10 weeks of coverage available
