A large regional healthcare system in Peoria, Illinois is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment.
This opportunity offers $400/hour, a predictable schedule, no call, no weekends, and comprehensive travel support.
Compensation & Benefits

Job Responsibilities
Level I Trauma Center
Diverse case mix including:
General anesthesia
Orthopedics
Trauma
OB and cardiac experience welcomed but not required
Physicians supervise CRNAs
Patients across all age groups
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Active Illinois medical license required at time of submission
Comfortable working in a busy acute-care environment
Working Hours
Coverage needed: 1-2 weeks per month
Monday-Friday schedule
5 x 10-hour shifts (50 hours/week)
No call
No weekends
EPIC EMR
Emergency privileges available
Credentialing in approximately 3-4 weeks
Unique Scheduling Advantage
Schedules built in 4-month blocks, three times annually
Providers may submit preferred availability
Strong history of requested dates being accommodated
Schedule releases typically provided 30-45 days before each block begins
