WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity beginning August 2026. This assignment supports a busy community hospital with 12 operating rooms, offering a diverse case mix, APP support, and beeper call coverage.

Clinical Responsibilities
This opportunity offers a broad and rewarding anesthesia practice in a comprehensive multi-specialty hospital. Providers should be comfortable practicing independently while managing a wide variety of surgical cases. The patient population is approximately 95% adult and 5% pediatric.
The facility is seeking at least two locum anesthesiologists to help meet ongoing clinical needs during a transition in anesthesia services.
Required Case Experience
Candidates must be comfortable providing anesthesia for:
- General Anesthesia
- Cardiac Anesthesia
- Pediatric Cases
- Obstetrics (OB)
- Regional Anesthesia / Nerve Blocks
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active Pennsylvania Medical License (or willingness to obtain)
- Pennsylvania DEA required
- IMLC candidates welcome
- No minimum experience required
