Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for a long-term locum tenens assignment at a well-established acute care hospital. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule, a collaborative anesthesia team, and the ability to provide care across a diverse surgical program.
Job Responsibilities
Long-term assignment (6+ months)
Flexible coverage of 2–5 shifts per month
Day shifts available:
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Medically directed anesthesia care model
Collaborative team of physicians and CRNAs
In-house physician and CRNA coverage 24/7
Practice Environment
279-bed acute care facility
Established anesthesia team consisting of physicians and CRNAs
Approximately 30 cases per day
17 anesthetizing rooms
Multiple points of service daily
High-volume surgical program with approximately 15,000 OR cases annually
Includes OR, procedural, and obstetric anesthesia services
Cardiac anesthesia services available, including advanced cardiac procedures
No trauma cases
Paper charting system
Working Hours

Skills
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABA or AOBA)
Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship required
Cardiac-capable anesthesiologist
Experience with:
Regional anesthesia and nerve blocks
Pediatric anesthesia
Obstetric anesthesia
Cardiac anesthesia
