WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity beginning in September 2026. This assignment offers recurring monthly coverage with a consistent weekday schedule, optional overnight call, and a diverse surgical case mix in a collaborative perioperative environment.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Call: Optional overnight call from 6:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Setting: Hospital-Based Anesthesiology
• Onsite Requirement: Daytime onsite; overnight call from a hotel within 20 minutes of the facility
• Credentialing Timeframe: TBD

This opportunity is ideal for an anesthesiologist seeking predictable monthly coverage in a well-supported operating room environment. Providers will work alongside an experienced surgical team while caring for primarily adult patients.

The practice includes nine operating rooms with an average daily surgical volume of 20–30 cases. The case mix includes general surgery, orthopedic surgery, urology, vascular surgery, and thoracic procedures. Limited pediatric cases consist primarily of ear tube placements and tonsillectomies.

No cardiac, neurosurgical, or obstetrical anesthesia is required.

Requirements

• BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• Active New Hampshire Medical License or IMLC eligibility
• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification

Practice Environment

• Nine operating rooms
• Average of 20–30 surgical cases per day
• Predominantly adult patient population
• Limited pediatric ENT cases (ear tubes and tonsillectomies)
• General, Orthopedic, Urology, Vascular, and Thoracic cases
• No cardiac, neurosurgical, or obstetrical cases
• Epic EMR
• Optional overnight call with nearby hotel accommodations
