Full-time Anesthesiology opportunity Location: Newark, Ohio • Join a hospital-employed anesthesia team utilizing a collaborative medical direction model with both anesthesiologists and CRNAs. • Physicians have the flexibility to perform their own cases or supervise CRNAs. • Broad case mix with no cardiac, neuro, or trauma responsibilities. Clinical responsibilities primarily include: • General Surgery • Vascular Surgery • Orthopedics • ENT • Genitourinary procedures • Gastroenterology • Obstetrics & Gynecology • Plastic Surgery • Podiatry • Psychiatry • Strong orthopedic surgery program with high case volume; experience with peripheral nerve blocks is highly desirable. • Department is currently incorporating Focused Cardiac Ultrasound (FoCUS) into preoperative assessment protocols.
