WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity beginning in September 2026. This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with the option to take overnight call while providing anesthesia services in a collaborative surgical environment.
Assignment Highlights

- Commitment: 1–2 weeks per month
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Call: Optional overnight call from 6:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Setting: Hospital-Based Anesthesiology
- Onsite Requirement: Daytime onsite; overnight call from hotel within 20 minutes of the facility
- Credentialing Timeframe: TBD
This is an excellent opportunity for an anesthesiologist seeking recurring monthly coverage in a well-supported operating room environment. Physicians will provide anesthesia services across a diverse surgical case mix while working alongside an experienced perioperative team.
The practice includes nine operating rooms with an average daily volume of 20–30 cases. The majority of patients are adults, with limited pediatric cases consisting primarily of BMTs (ear tubes) and tonsillectomies.
Case mix includes:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedic Surgery
- Urology
- Vascular Surgery
- Thoracic Surgery
No cardiac, neurosurgical, or obstetrical anesthesia cases are required.

Requirements
- BC/BE Anesthesiology
- Active New Hampshire Medical License or IMLC eligibility
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
Practice Environment

- Optional overnight call from nearby hotel accommodations
