Job Details:
Location: Asheville, NC
Duration: 6 months with potential extension
Schedule: 10–12 hour shifts, Monday–Friday
Call: Required, including weekend call coverage
Coverage Frequency: 1–2 weeks per month
Board Status: Board Eligible or Board Certified
Facility Type: Level 1 Trauma Center
Average CV Cases Per Day: 10–15
Practice Environment:
Care Team Model: Yes
Primarily supervisory role
Physicians may sit their own cases if preferred
Supervision ratio: 1 MD : 3–4 CRNAs
EMR: Cerner & AIMS
Required Qualifications:
TEE Certified
Advanced TEE interpretation skills
Current experience managing complex cardiac patients
Comfortable in a supervisory care team model
