Join a well-established anesthesiology group providing coverage across two hospital campuses and a freestanding outpatient surgery center in one of South Florida's most desirable locations. This opportunity offers a diverse and stimulating case mix, strong clinical support, academic affiliations, and an exceptional work-life balance.
You'll practice in an environment featuring Level I trauma, advanced cardiovascular procedures, robotics, thoracoabdominal surgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics, supported by an experienced CRNA team and a collaborative physician group.
Position Highlights
Coverage across two hospital campuses and a freestanding outpatient surgery center
Combined OR capacity of:
21 operating rooms, including dedicated cardiac services
6 operating rooms and 2 OB rooms at the secondary campus
Additional OR expansion planned
Established team of attending anesthesiologists supported by a strong CRNA workforce
Approximately 1:4 physician-to-CRNA ratio
Diverse case mix including:
Level I Trauma
Structural heart and endovascular procedures
Robotics
Thoracoabdominal surgery
Pediatrics
Obstetrics
Five call shifts per month
Post-call physicians are protected from routine clinical duties except during critical staffing situations
Structured and transparent OB call rotation
Dedicated weekend coverage team
Night-float system in place for overnight coverage
Call schedules published 3–4 weeks in advance
Academic Opportunities
Participate in the education and mentorship of future anesthesia providers through affiliations with regional academic programs, including:
Medical students
Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs)
Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) trainees
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Florida
