Anesthesiology Opportunity in Cape Girardeau, MO
Position Details
BC/BE Anesthesiologist
Full-time employed position
Join an established team of 5 Anesthesiologists and 20 CRNAs
Medical direction model with a maximum ratio of 1:4
Work exclusively at one hospital
Call schedule of 1:5
Overnight call from home
No second-call responsibilities
No trauma call
Case Mix
Orthopedics with regional blocks
Labor & Delivery
Low-volume healthy pediatrics (ENT)
Spine procedures
Cardiac and cardiothoracic cases
Cath lab procedures
Gynecology
Urology
Additional ancillary surgical services
Practice Environment
CRNAs perform all intubations and epidurals
Physicians primarily manage OR cases and C-sections
3 dedicated cardiac ORs
Dedicated cardiac anesthesia coverage with cardiac CRNAs available 24/7
Strong collaborative relationship between physicians and CRNAs
System-wide Epic EMR
